Junior Golf Clinics at downingtown

Build skills, build confidence, and build a lifetime of golf

At Downingtown Country Club, we believe the game of golf is a gift worth passing down. Our junior golf clinics introduce young golfers in Chester County, PA to the fundamentals of the swing, the etiquette of the course, and the camaraderie that makes the game a lifelong pursuit. Whether your child is picking up a club for the first time or sharpening skills before middle-school tryouts, our programs meet them where they are — and grow with them through the season.

Junior golfers train on the same George Fazio–designed parkland course that’s hosted Chester County families since 1965. Our PGA-trained pro staff runs structured clinics, hosts on-course play-along sessions, and partners with Youth on Course to keep junior golf accessible for every family in the Downingtown, PA area. Reach our Pro Shop at (610) 873-0800 to register or ask questions about which program is the right fit for your young golfer.

On-Course Play-Alongs & Beyond the Clinic

Skills built on the range only stick when juniors take them to the course. That’s why every junior who completes one of our 2026 clinics is invited to evening play-along sessions throughout the summer and fall — at no extra charge. A pro walks alongside small groups of junior golfers as they play actual holes, teaching course etiquette, the rules of golf, and on-course management as situations come up in real time. It’s the bridge between practice-tee progress and the kind of confident, course-ready golf that lasts a lifetime. Learn more at your summer camp.
