Favorite aspect of work for RJG: Cohesion, support and relationships within the company and other properties. Ron and Liz are amazing people who do so much to support their team, but also the community – their charity work with Jaws Youth Playbook
and the most inspiring part: Leading a talented group of individuals who care about and support each other. Working with a team who is committed to providing our members and guests with a first class experience.
When did you start building your passion for events? When I was the Dining Manager at Tam O’Shanger Golf Club in NY and I was responsible for my first Bat Mitzvah. I’ll never forget the end of the night when the host thanked me and the Mitzvah girl said with joy on her face – “this was the best day of my life”. From that moment on, throughout my career, my goal is for every event special event we get to host, to have them experience that same level of joy and excitement.
Favorite thing to do when not at Downingtown: Spend time with my family
Favorite Course to Play: Locally with my son at Pine Crest or Five Ponds, but I’ve been very fortunate to play some of the best courses in the US including Shinnecock Hills, Sebonack Golf Club, and Pine Valley
Fun Fact: I auditioned to be on the television show Survivor
Favorite Quote: The most dangerous phrase in our language is “we’ve always done it this way.” Rear Admiral Grace Hopper
