Meet Chef Stanford

Executive Chef Stanford Burke at Downingtown Country Club is a graduate of The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, and began his career serving an apprenticeship at Philadelphia’s Four Seasons Hotel under renowned Chef Jean-Marie Lacroix.

His culinary experience includes owning and operating a restaurant in Ocean City, New Jersey; Executive Chef at the prestigious Crystal Tea Room in The Wanamaker Building Philadelphia; Corporate Task Force Chef at several Marriott branded and Boutique Hotels; Executive Chef for Aramark at both Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey and the Philadelphia Zoo; and Executive Chef at the Chubb Hotel & Conference Center Lafayette Hill working for Iron Chef Jose Garces.

In executing more than 1,000 weddings, galas, and large corporate events during his prestigious career, Chef Stanford considers weddings his specialty, and is proud to be making every couple comfortable and excited about their special day.
